About & resources
A companion for reflection, not a clinician.
The Inner Map helps you write, notice recurring language, and see themes across time. Its responses and pattern summaries are generated by AI, so they can be incomplete or wrong. Treat them as invitations to reflect—not diagnoses, facts about you, or professional advice.
When to choose a person
A trusted friend, therapist, doctor, spiritual-care provider, or other qualified professional can offer context and care this tool cannot. If writing here is making you feel less safe or more overwhelmed, pause and contact someone you trust.
United States: Call or text 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline.
Canada: Call or text 9-8-8 Suicide Crisis Helpline.
Elsewhere: Find a local, verified helpline through Find A Helpline.
If you or someone else is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services now.
Your data
Your saved writing, conversations, extracted insights, and pattern synthesis live in this app’s database. Export a readable Markdown copy whenever you want. Deleting removes all reader-created data; in demo mode, it then restores the public fictional journey.
This deployment is in demo mode. Everything initially shown on the Map is fictional.
How the Map works
After you end a reflection, the app extracts a compact set of themes, emotions, beliefs, values, and a summary. Repeated themes gain visual contours. A separate synthesis can connect patterns across entries, but you remain the authority on whether any connection fits.
